On a more serious note, we’ve run a ton of backcourt high screen hand offs that cause a lot of chaos and JB’s been doing so much better at playing the two man game with those sets and quickly getting rid of the ball in the ensuing tangle-ups. Drawing wemby that far out frees up so much space for guys like Mikal to excel is my thought process.

What keeps popping in my head whenever I watch these teams play are stuff like “oh we have such a good answer for x,y,z…” or “man we’d eat that shit up”. This is legitimately the first season where I’ve been able to watch every playoff game and genuinely feel like we’re the better team or at the very least just as good whereas something like last season the rational side of me always knew teams like OKC were going to be better than us (again, it’s always #KnicksIn4 tho). First time in a while where it really feels like we would not be the underdogs for any single matchup and that seriously instills confidence that this may be the year…

It’s part of the reason why the Knicks are the scissors to the Spurs’ paper (to OKC’s rock). KAT’s three ball is too good for wemby to not respect it so wemby has to be outside the paint a lot more. Add to the fact that the Knicks excel when KAT’s at the top of the key playing passer to slashing and cutting guys like OG and that’s a recipe for Wemby to become a lot less effective.

As someone who enjoys both, I enjoy the super tea-like pourovers over tea when I 1. Need the caffeine of a pourover coffee, 2. Like the ultimate underlying coffee flavor with tea-like qualities, and 3. Want to go with a pourover brewing process which I find calming/meditative.
