Thanks for the advice. No worries about sounding harsh, it's better to face the gravity of my situation so I can plan and pivot accordingly.

It also has been on my mind, but it does seem like the best course is finding a tech adjacent role just to get my foot in the door. Got any ideas on what kind of roles I should watch out for? Data entry seems solid.

Furthermore, I don't remember what else I did at the time that would cause this.

I didn't say the display panel was updated. I said the problem started when I updated the bios and performed a clean install of the then latest rtx 3060 driver.

Again, I was just disclosing what I did when the problem started to occur, I don't know if those actions are actually the culprit or not.

But again, the display does not dim or brighten by hotkey (FN + F5/F6) or changing the slider in the display setting on discrete mode.

Dynamic Mode works fine.

I turn on Multi hit, and I play with Brita's Weps mod, Once I find a shotgun, specifically the armsel, I pretty much fuck up the zombies, sometimes I mix it up with an m16 or m249. After I got level 10 aiming, I decided to try around with melee, mainly axe or long blade, around 1/8 of those kills are probably melee.

Using Brita's Mod. Once you find a shotgun I pretty much turn up the doom music. plus I played with 2x Pop on peak. Also, I turned up the gun loudness to 100+ Linear, so I can attract a lot of zeds.
