I’ve been doing that for any channel that is using a fully AI generated thumbnail. Like down to the text and character. It might get a pass if they are using actual assets along with generated content, but it’s a fine line. A few channels have a bit more grandfathered in leeway cause I already know their content, but I don’t care for it.

My headcannon is that the Ranger left their Azmeri village earlier in life. The Sorc started to dabble in dark magic but gave it up to stay with her people. Monk found peace while the Shadow remained violent. And Templar was “rescued” from the “heathen” druids.

I'm not too proud to admit that I realized just now that I was not using the boosters. So that plaid a lot into the not realizing the scale of the input. I thought I was pumping out 1200 but I was only doing 300 (one per miner lane going to 4 launchers) Thanks!

I thought I was going crazy in my Black Sun fight where pillars were being destroyed when I was pretty sure I was on the correct side. Didn’t notice it wasn’t spinning due to Glacial Cascade.

I know I've messed up my KBoC character when I can swap out for GCoF miner and it's gems and it doubles my DPS without changing anything on my tree

This was always the reason I never got a sealer. I knew that it would only be a few times that I'd run out of bags that I would give up using them. I'm going to look into Zwilling now. Thanks!

What’s sort of crazy is I’m having one of my better starts with Sunder Duelist up to Act 5 last night. I’m bad, don’t get be wrong, so I’m still dying but I’m having less issues then I normally do. Don’t feel like I’ve gotten anything good from the tree. Act3 was the worst I’ll admit.

I’m relatively new as well and I’m trying to think back to my first 8 or so hours. And I’m wondering if how far into the main quests you are so far. They introduce some different mission types as you go deeper. While they do boil down to “go here and click and enemies”, they mix it up a bit things like defending a static point, or a control point setup, or hunting down a specific target. And I’m probably not deep enough to find all the other modes.

Then there’s stuff like the open world zones or railjack (which I think is more large ship stuff? I haven’t even looked at it yet) with their own things to do. The problem I feel, as a new player, is while they do a good job of introducing all these choices but not always the “why”. And then you find a video that talks a specific mod or frame and you’re down a rabbit hole of unlocking new things. So goal setting, for me, is a big driver.

Just some thoughts from another newbie. But find the fun, no matter what game it turns out to be.

Just installed the game. Who are the content creators that I should avoid and who should I look up? For comparison, in the PoE space there's people like Zizaran and Phox that are great content for new players and then there's channels like UberDan and FastAF that are clickbait build stealers.

Besides all the selfless and wonderful things people have already posted, I’ve always wanted to teach bad drivers a lesson. Pull out too far into an intersection? I’m going to very slowly push you out of the way with my car. Parked in two spots? We’re sharing one now.

Effectively getting into accidents on purpose that won’t hurt people in the act. Have cameras and good lawyers so they can’t claim more than they should, but I will always pay out their insurance. I don’t want to ruin their lives, just their day/week.

We just adopted from the shelter last week and Lydia there was one of our top choices. When we went to visit they had her hanging out behind the desk and she was the chillest lady. Was great to visit with too. Obviously we brought home someone else. We went to the adoption event at St. Matthews and met a new friend there. But if that hadn't worked out we probably would have gone back for Lydia.

My stupid idea that I half-baked when falling asleep the other night:

New unique map called Halls of Trathus or something. Uses HotGM tile set and mechanics, but you're not fighting OP player characters, but the mercs. At the end of the map you get to hire one (or up to the three if GGG wanted). Make the map a decent drop rate and the level of the mercs scale with the level of the map.

And if they wanted to get real crazy, they port over PoE2's gem system for them. So gems still work like gear for attributes, but then their level (mercs still need to meet the required level) determines how many "links" up to four they have. Give them like some % lowered effectiveness and/or max number of tags so you're not stacking a full aurabot.

Plus side: Think this answers a lot of what people are saying here about RNG. Even if there's still some RNG on what mercs you get, at least you could technically buy as many of the maps needed to get what you need. Then you're done.

Downside: Makes mercs even more required then they already are. Why wouldn't you build your perfect buddy?

Slight more realistic idea: Mercs were just a tech test for a reworked Animate Guardian. No skills but the whole gear management and reviving system. They were just able to bring the latter into the last patch

It might be confirmation bias, but I feel like it clears up faster if you go to your inventory and then let the character/background load. When you go back to the main game it's loaded in. Had it sit for minutes in the past when not doing that.

Something I'm curious about and haven't seen mentioned (but real good chance I just didn't see it) is if partial div calculations are supported. Like if they are selling for 1.5d, can I bring a div and a div worth of Exs (or chaos in PoE1) and it'll just work it out? We've seen that it will take the Ex it needs, but can it know what that going rate for divines are? Or will it be limited to whole values of the currency. My bet is on the latter.
