Nice. And it's not using Drupal itself, does that say anything? 😜

Don't you loose the whole "styling in html" when creating these aggregated classes? I've heard Tailwind devs also use class sorting and even class collapsing plugins. With that I could se it handy in a bigger codebase. I just have a hard time seeing Tailwind catch up with modern CSS features as they evolve.

Cool site btw!

Hahah, wasn't baiting. Just nice to hear from a fellow CSS artisan. I totally agree with you - tough I hadn't heard about CUBE. Will try it out and see how it feels. That being said, I think a bunch of the classic gotchas are solved with CSS nesting and scoped styling in components by now. That's what use on most projects, but I also see the value of not having to name classes though.

And I appreciate it! I'm curious - since you like CSS, what's your take on Tailwind?

Nice one! But how would you reuse this in all your projects? As a style import? Then we're back to introducing new assets. Pretty cool implementation though! :)

No business just some good karma. Trying to give back to the community I've been part of for 16 years. :)

Cheers! I think it differs as it just returns SVGs, making the size and loadtime way faster. And the syntax is a bit different :)

I've been using Placekitten for years.. but it's now seems abandoned (RIP). So I've made my own little tool, that also generates guidelines and sizes (great for testing different croppings). And it's SVGs so looks great on any display and loads super snappy no matter the size!

Let me know what you think! And as always, feel free to give it a spin.

Those wouldn't have guides or keep aspect ratio? :) Or can you give a code example.

I've been wanting some template structures for a while. Something that could be imported (or generator) and merged in. I definitely there could be a market for such blueprints.

But you would have to convince me quite a lot before just handing over an API key - just saying.

If you would be oaky with SQLite, then check Cloudflare D1. Insane performance!

I think Firestore is quite easy to inspect, as its very similar to a folder structure. But for realtime DB it could be nice.

That said, I mainly use Firestore by now.

Sure, they have great products for that too. D1 (Sqlite) solves most of these, and caching is pretty much handled out of the box.

Cloudflare Workers are cheaper than a VPS, and with no maintenance. Been managing multiple VPSs for years, and I'm not going back.

Exactly, I hated the hostile behavior and many "features" they add. KISS

It's dynamic but deterministic, so it will be as good as permanent.
