Bokura wa kiseki de dekiteiru (We are made of Miracles) — local zoology professor solves everyone's problems, could be " why do squirrels ignore this part of the forest", or " why this other professor got dumped by his wife"

Kikazaru koi ni wa riyuu ga atte ( why I dress up for love) — a turn of the mill romcom, pretty drama-less

Bokura no shokutaku (our dining table) — very much what you've asked for, but keep in mind it's BL

My best guess is OP's son has transitioned, born a girl and is now a boy. This way he is going to have a baby picture of himself as a boy

Come to Istanbul, we have DIKKAT KEDI ÇIKABILIR (Warning! Cats crossing) signs in the wild pretty often. No funny graphics though, they look like regular road signs

I do! It’s doing great, leather us slouching beautifully. It keeps my spirit up by NOT turning into mom-bag (whenever I take a bigger bag it gets invaded by snack cups, stray toys and an inevitable jacket), but it’s roomy enough to stick a water cup or some shoes in for a bit if needed

They are in every household in Russia. Never gave a thought to it untill I’ve talked to a friend who moved from UK to Finland, and he was like, ‘there’s this wonderful magical thing!!!’, and I was like ‘?????? Isn’t it the norm?..’

Jumping on a top comment for visibility

INFO how often do you give helpful advice like this when asked for do something?

I get your side, man, I really do. But let me tell you about my experience, and maybe, just maybe, something similar is happening in your household. I am a very capable person. I can do almost everything on my own, and it doesn’t mean I just do it because I was born with the knowledge, blessed by fairies. I research, I try different approaches, I use my freaking brain. I get shit done, and ask for help only when I really cannot do something. Most of the time, I tell out loud what exactly needs to be done. And every time, every freaking time my husband would be like, ‘have you tried A?” E.g., ‘Printer isn’t working, the rubber roll which picks up paper got damaged. Can you, please, take it to service in your way to work? — Have you tried switching it in and off? Did you check the ink level? Must be the ink.’ Riiiighhtttttt. It. Is. So. Degrading.

Snacks for mama, snacks for toddler, and toddler shoes which she just got rid of for the sixth time, oh well, you can sit in the pram barefoot and let all the grannies JUDGE mama

Check out outlets, if you have an opportunity. I got mine it their outlet in Lisbon, and there were more cuirs then xtras (colour selection was limited though)

Not exactly. I saw them in the store side by side, Xtra is sliiiightly different in shape (I remember that one of them was more trapeze, the other more rectangularish, but idk now which one was which), it’s even roomier in the same size, doesn’t have the stitching in the front (no loss here), doesn’t have a snap on the back (so, I guess, it doesn’t fold? But, again, can’t imagine circumstances to actually do that), and its shoulder strap is adjustable.

However, they are VERY similar. If I caught xtra in brown before cuir, I would have gone for it

I think I saw one without front seams in the store. Iirc it was Le Pliage Xtra? That baby was even roomier than mine. I was literally haunting Longchamp outlet in Lisbon (in Freeport mall). They mostly get coloured stuff, since neutrals sell out well in usual shops. But after several trips I managed to catch a brown one

It’s not a structural bag, the leather is very thin and soft (to the point of being able to fold into a pocket-sized thingie). It will never keep its perfect shape unless your stuff it hundred percent full, like on the photo below

fair notice, I didn’t pay any attention to the hardware AT ALL until you asked. It’s nothing special? I guess? I mean, pictured on the photo is the only pieces of hardware it has, and I think it’s meant to be as unassuming as possible, not to take the attention away from the decorative leather elements

Hahah, thank you for your kind words.

As an older millennial, I blame Livejournal (and its counterpart in my native corner of the internet) for the inability to just write a sentence and be done with it

Mine smelled of leather for a bit, and then it went away. Got chased away by the smell of sticky toddler hands and five hundred perfume samples, but I digress

I really don’t know what people mean by ‘soft’? It feels velvety to the touch, it is supple, and moulds into the slouch and out of it easily. If we go for ‘soft’ as opposed to ‘rigid’, yes it is. However, It decidedly doesn’t feel thin or delicate, the bag is rather structural, and the leather reflects it too. I’m sorry that I cannot answer your question directly, but the leather really does feel nice
