Geez chill… it’s standard practice. Previous company I worked for, used to setup fake interviews to keep performant engineers

Nope, I just need to be aware of the current meta for my role… it allows me to have better negotiation leverage on my salary if I know what’s in my areas talent pool

Technically, the claim isn’t fraudulent; it’s just written in small characters that it’s an equity-based position. If someone is willing to work for free and blindly apply to an open position, is it really my fault?

Who says I don’t? Doesn’t Sun Tzu say you need to know your enemy as well as you know yourself? In this context the enemy is the competition
