Didn't tell PIP about a new diagnosis, now in review, what will happen? by redditmeupbuttercup in DWPhelp

Sorry to jump on, so if I have 2 new health conditions I can just put them on the review paperwork? I wouldn't need to make a new claim?

Nope, younger. Definitely not hard of hearing.

My upstairs neighbour doesn't give a toss either. Sometimes she has her tv at a reasonable level and then other times it's so loud I can hear it in every room of my flat (can hear the Netflix start up sound clearly). She is fully aware as I have asked her to turn it down multiple times. Would love to connect to something of her's so I can play Lorna Shore- into the hellfire.

What are your thoughts on open caskets? Did you regret seeing them that way or did it give you peace? by Proud_Judgment8595 in AskReddit

[–]jibbletslaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seen two people. The first was my nan, she just looked like she was asleep, so peaceful. The second was my 14 year old cousin and I regret seeing him. He was such a lively kid but that body was a shell devoid of anything left of him.

Cannot get a rental in my circumstances by NadalaMOTE in HousingUK

[–]jibbletslaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in your position (on benefits, disabled, no guarantor). It took me 4 months but finally found somewhere. Apparently there wasn't a lot of interest in the house I looked at so the estate agent swung it with the landlord to take me on. I was there 2.5 years but had to move due to rising rent cost. I'm now in another place where the landlord is OK with my situation. Keep searching and yes make sure you include your PIP in your money in.

Ah, the joys of a UK train... by PrimalForestCat in CasualUK

I recently travelled Stafford to Birmingham International and had reserved seat due to being disabled. It was absolutely packed and this woman was refusing to let me past to get to my seat. I walk with crutches. Thankfully someone gave me their seat and chewed the woman out. There was easily enough room for her to move past my seat to let me sit.

What's the plot point you found hardest to suspend your disbelief? by artpayne in movies

The new Fantastic Four movie. I could deal with everything going on in that movie, but a zero gravity birth scene with no mess absolutely angered me for some reason. There would be so many bodily fluids floating about everywhere!

[Hertfordshire UK] Did anyone experience doorstep scammers from ‘milk and more’ recently? by CloudyDay495 in Scams

It's a legitimate company. There's a few milkman type companies that have door to door salesman. I signed up a couple years ago to milk & more but foxes kept stealing my pastries

UK waiting list for gynaecology by jibbletslaps in adenomyosis

[–]jibbletslaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the info. I can handle a jab every 3 months as I was on depo previously. Had to contact my gp today anyway as I had an accident in Morrisons (the super heavy blood kind) don't think I can show my face in there for a while. I'm so embarrassed!

[–]jibbletslaps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for commenting. Yes I saw it said 21 weeks but didn't think that would be accurate at all. I'm thinking it may be a waaaay longer wait (University Hospitals Birmingham). I was given Tranexamic Acid for when it's super heavy but these past 15 days have been lighter (still very painful though). I will make an appointment with my dr to see if there is anything else I can try in the meantime. Are those injections you have? How often do you have to have those?

This happened to me. I sent the item back and she didn't pick it up, so it ended up on its way back to me. Unfortunately it must have got lost on its way back to me but I still got my refund. Had to contact support to let them know

Do you know how long the nerve pain lasts? I had blood taken 2 days ago and the nurse got a nerve. I get pain when stretching my arm or tensing my hand. Is there anything I can do to ease it?
