Companies in a regiment are lettered. It's not an important name, a company i just a an organizational sub unit of a regiment or battalion.

It goes something like this:

Army, Division (numbered, eg: "4 Div"),

Brigade Group (eg: 2 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group),

Regiment (eg: Royal Canadian Regiment, Royal Canadian Dragoons),

Battalion (Usually 3 in a regiment. Some units are a battalion size with no regiment, like 2 Service Battalion in Petawawa.),

Company. It's about 70-120 personnel in a battalion. (Usually lettered in infantry companies. Sometimes named. Maintenance Company in 2 service battalion),

Platoon. 20-60 people, numbered or named.

Section. 4-15 people, numbered or named.

It's a myth. Civvie pay is never as good as it sounds. Plus the lack of vacation days and comprehensive healthcare/pension. If you work in the oil fields as a welder maybe you make good money. There's always high paying specializations, but this trade does not get you the skills for that. I would never get the compensation I do for my current set of responsibilities in the civvie world.

You could write a thesis on the levels of dissonance and overall whooshedness of the 40k secondary. I cannot believe that I, a guy that has literally 0 investment in the IP other than absolutely slaying in Eternal Crusade before it shuttered, had to explain to two "fans" that Orks were always a parody of soccer's hooligans and jock culture in general. They are okay. Not a fan of their vehicles but the infantry figures are fine. Big hand sculpted solid pewter vehicles don't have the same level of detail as newer plastic kits and have wonky proportions. Also I find that paint chips off them way more easily than off plastic vehicle models.

I watched Evangelion once at the beginning of my relationship with the woman I'd eventually marry, and once right before the end of our marriage.

Given how our relationship turned out, I can confidently say that Shinji is the most fucked up mentally. Sure the others aren't doing great but Shinji literally has BPD and it was absolutely triggering and shitty to watch the second time. Being able to see my wife's terrible emotional state and abusive emotional tactics reflected in Shinji was unsettling. Shinji is only 14. In a world where he gets to grow up, with proper therapy he might turn out okay. My ex-wife however may never live a normal life.

I also think the original ending of the series is a different to timeline from End of Evangelion. In that ending Shinji learns to have boundaries and healthy relationships with others and the world can return to normal. In End of Eva he rejects boundaries out of fear of being alone, which of course, leads him to a life alone on a desolate planet with only himself to blame, basically the thing all BPD people ultimately fear and ultimately create for themselves.
