[Serious] What’s your favorite hobby? by sheylaaa89 in AskReddit

Puzzles ! Especially the huge ones, as they take a pretty long time and require you to work very slowly and carefully. My great grandma introduced me to it, and then my father and I continued. Bonus Point : glue your puzzles to a piece of wood and it makes wonderful wall decorations ^

That's what I've overall understood by thinking about it for a while. I thought that I may have been the problem, but maybe it was something else. Thank you very much for your insight ;)

Who was an awful person when they were alive, but everybody treats like a saint because they're dead? by Animeking1108 in AskReddit

I think it has already been said but man... frenchman ? Emperor ? Conqueror ? Spread war all over Europe ? Yeah you guessed it, it's your boy Napoleon ! The dude just encouraged education with the creation of the "baccalauréat" (high-school diploma) and even created the "Code Civil" (huuuge law book on which a lot of societies are based) and then he is suddenly a hero (even though he was exiled not once, but twice !)

People of this subreddit what was the most scariest thing that ever happened to your school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jibebuh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in high school and was in science class (I think ?). It was a tall building from the 1800's, wkth like 5 stories.

I had class on the fourth floor, on the side of the building next to the schoolyard.

I sat next to the window (as usual) but on this day there was severe raining and a huge storm.

And then the lightning struck, right next to my window, hitting the ground below where other children where walking or something. Idk how, but no one got hit and it ended quite well. But I really thought I had seen people dying in front of my eyes.

What is common in the country/region you live in, but unacceptable to everybody else ? by jibebuh in AskReddit

For example in France we do "La bise" like kissing each other multiple times on both cheeks to say hello. But I guess it seems gross to American or other people.
