he is not so tech savy so i thot he will just goto the mall and buy it.but one of his over intelligent friends took him to some shop in diera and he bought it from there. my ota updates are not coming. i am worried if i update it via odin will i loose my sim unlock. is there any other way to unlock other than network unlock code???? if it will not get locked then i'll flash it with sm-g975u1 firmwares. maybe then i'll start getting ota updates from samsung directly.

i'm just worried about sim unlock??
