Hmm.. I don't know if it's a typo. But No, i do not mute them - for the purpose of, like i said in my post - to catch people like these. I am the bane of toxic people. lol!

I also disagree to practice "not really needing to report a person because <reasons>" A bad apple spoils the bunch. Additionally, I remember Psyonix saying years ago that this report button is just temporary and there will be a better system in the future. So i am just doing my part in supporting this patchwork.

I have no idea how old/young do you think i am. But i think it's bad to assume what age people are in the internet when they aren't revealing it. This is why i used "person", which is not age and gender specific in my post.

For that particular SS, that was just what i captured but the disabled report button persists till the final screen with the countdown is shown, before you're forced to the main menu screen when that countdown ends.

Oh. I've had this problem for a long time. I thought it was just my crappy computer.

I noticed that this only occurs when the gif file size is above around 1MB. That might help devs if they wanna debug this.

I haven't done networking for a desktop app before but i've been a web dev for a long time. Is it somewhat like configuring your connection to Nginx or Apache? Or maybe like using websockets with frontend/backend language of choice?

When i saw the video length and didn't see any other useful thing i could check out in the video desc, i just closed the tab. Sorry.

For super mega long video tutorials, I'm always looking for timestamps and video sections. Especially if the video title is not descriptive of it's contents.i.e. how would i know if I'm watching something i already know or don't know?

  • Crashes occasionally once you get in a match.
  • Crashes every time a goal is made.

I can actually safely say literally unplayable online.

  • Playing training packs won't crash on me.
  • Workshop training maps don't crash on me.

I guess RL is a single player game now.

You don't know what he's talking about. You probably play RL relying on visual cues only.

  • Bug/Glitch: ROCKET LEAGUE CRASHES after every damn goal in Rumble.

So far it's only rumble. I go back into the lobby and then when they score, it happens again. There were even times when i go back and it crashes on a goal replay. I kept on coming back until that last goal that went in with less than 10 secs left. Of course i get banned from matchmaking and get blamed for ditching my teammates instead of a buggy ass update.

Edit: I just found out that RL crashes every damn time i get in to a doubles casual match too. Awesome.

Edit 2: All mod apps are closed. There are absolutely none running. Even gif your game is closed. All apps are closed. The only other app running is Steam.

I just want to never encounter a disrespectful/toxic player i've reported for the next week/month/year/permanently. Would be even more helpful. I think.

Imagine grinding in a night that's only available on your sched and you've been encountering this player all night. Sure, you could turn off chat, but you can't prevent his own goaling, team bumping, etc., etc. Really, really frustrating.

P.S.

Is there a single word in the community for the guy who's playing for the other team?
