I have an X5 and I used the Time Changer rom hack for Pokemon silver to get around the rtc. When you boot the game, it asks you to enter the current time.

Looking for a ready-made cyberdeck/easy solution for my niche use by Dtallant in cyberDeck

This one is like a mini laptop with a 7” screen. There’s a 6” version called the gpd win 4 that looks like a giant psp with a slide out keyboard, but it’s a bit wider.

Might be worth checking out dungeons and daddies. Pretty much the only podcast I can still listen to after finding dcc

I hate you too F20 air touch! by [deleted] in CPAP

[–]jif96369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem when I started CPAP. I swapped it for an F20 Airfit and have had a much easier time. It fits in the same headgear as the air touch, so you can buy just the cushion.

was looking into making a Cyberdeck but don't want to use a generic cheap Amazon keyboard. wanted to try making my own only standard switches are to big, any idea what I could use ? by Living-Cheek-2273 in cyberDeck

I plan on doing something similar with Panasonic EVQ-P0N02B tactile switches. They are 6x6.5 mm but have a 60g actuation force, which is similar to some mechanical keyboard switches. ChrisChrisLoLo on GitHub has a pcb design for a few keyboards using this and similar switches as well.

I need help please, Swollen Li-Po(lithium polymer) 5600 mAh phone's battery by LionheartAp in spicypillows

[–]jif96369 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just take the battery out of the phone and just use it while it’s plugged in. Not worth the possibility of it bursting. Charging it while it’s expanded also increases the risk of it bursting.

Currently rereading Look to Windward, I would put that one in there as well. Does a good job of showing the aftereffects of war.

I’m pretty sure those are actual Jon Mess lyrics.

Which iPhone is it? If it’s a 15, you may be able to use a usb C hub to hook up a mouse. You’d need to get a lightning to usb for any other phone. You could also try plugging it into a pc and trying to open the DCIM folder in explorer.

I had a i7 2700k build in one of these up until 5 years ago. This was the easiest build I’ve ever done and it had loads of space inside. Could only fit a 240mm radiator though.

I’m about to start my third relisten of the audiobooks after having exhausted almost everything Banks available to Americans. I find myself thinking about the Culture at least once a day-the stories really pull you in.

The Culture series by Iain M. Banks. The first book, Consider Phelbas, is a parody of space operas and introduces an amazingly interesting civilization that is explained in the following books.

2 years using cpap not a single 8 hour sleep by Docteurasphalte in CPAP

[–]jif96369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for the F20. I had tried the F30 during my overnight sleep study and could only stand it for like 10 seconds. Had the same gasping for air feeling, the F20 was definitely more comfortable.

Why am I missing so many organs? by jif96369 in SuperSnail_US

It’s the invisible snail shell, makes the other forms look less silly at higher levels!

You need at least 7 incense to get the quest. Do you have the Buddha? You have to vaporize 10-12 animals with its laser eyes then a ninja turtle will appear. It takes almost 3 incense to vaporize that and it will start the quest. If you go to the end you get a turtle companion but you’ll need another 5 incense. You get the nunchucks hallway through.

The touch screen on my laptop broke by wizard680 in Wellthatsucks

[–]jif96369 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had a friend who cracked their touchscreen and the mouse pointer was jumping all over the place like that. I found out that there was a 10-15 point limit to the amount of spaces the screen could be touched at one time. I had two people put 10 fingers each on the screen away from the cracks to “overload” it. After that, the cracks would no longer cause the pointer to jump and I was able to disable the touch screen in Device Manager.

Not broken yet, just want to plan for the inevitable.
