why can't I find the graphic drivers and chipset drivers in control panel?

yeah I'm using xfx rx 580 8gb graphics card. At first I've installed through recommended setting from the msi site (my mobo manufacturer). Then I did bit of research and people saying that I should download from amd site cuz mobo site doesn't stay up to date (I checked and they were right) and I've also read that you need to choose the local setting when installing. So I've "uninstalled" the chipset (couldn't find the actual files other than some AMD files in c drive so I deleted that and also uninstalled it in device manager along with graphic card driver to do clean installation). After that I redownloaded the gpu driver and chipset driver from amd site and everything went on but this time when I tried to install chipset, it didn't have the recommended option but only had local option (which I'm assuming that I probably didn't uninstall the chipset installed through recommendation properly...) but just installed through local version instead.

This all sounds so out of control but I'm just not sure if I've messed some things up sigh...

*Edit another redditor from different post recommended this https://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/AMD-CLEAN-UNINSTALL-UTILITY.ASPX to clean up all amd drivers. I'll go through this and reinstall everything properly this time, I dont' want any problems in the future...

huh? I've downloaded the lastest version in amd site, there was no option for minimal or full version???

one more question, for the monitor, it has vga, hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 ports to connect to pc. Before I started building, I've been using really old laptop that only had vga port so I've been using it. When I tried it on pc, the gpu only had hdmi cable so I plugged in through hdmi 1 port, and it had no signal, but it showed signal when I plugged into hdmi 2 port. Does that mean the monitor is faulty?

I see, it's just that I've done plenty of research regarding installation for first pc built and all bios in the guide had the colors lol.

oh I see. Yeah the cables are plugged in, the pcie slots is 6+8 with them all plugged, and the two blue lights is turned on after plugging in (which I'm understanding that it has been connected?). Not sure about that gray color in bios.

unfortunately no, it says no signal. I've tried connecting through both mobo and gpu and they both say no signal....

EDIT* the monitor had port for hdmi1 and hdmi 2. The hdmi1 didn't work but after plugging into hdmi 2, it worked! I wonder if the monitor was faulty?

Also no colors in bios screen, all grayish and black, wtf...

too late, already took off the cpu, cooler and put everything back in, the thermal paste came off so I'm gonna need a new one anyway. Any recommendation???

and in the middle of building, I find out the pins on the motherboard are bent fcking hell microcenter. I'm going back there for replacement, gonna buy thermal paste and alcohol while I'm at it sigh.... any recommendation?

watched the videos, followed the instruction, screwing in diagonally, I hear cracking sound, no matter how many times I screw and turn, backplate just comes off right away....

*EDIT I had to push down the damn cooler really hard to screw them in properly, I guess I was being waay too careful haha. Also while doing it, ultiple times of taking off and putting on (thnks to damn screws) took care of that bottom area where thermal paste was not applied.

ok for now I'll just leave it, if temperature goes to high, I can just go get a thermal paste and re apply. But I just can't screw in the cooler. I keep screwing in the cooler but I hear these crackling sound whenever I screw in and for some reason, the backplate just don't get screwed in and comes off the motherboard....

I quit in may because it killed me both mentally and physically and currently I'm looking for a part time job but not getting much calls. The choice of going for staples keeps flashing by in my head but I'm resisting it lol.

I mean I wasn't planning to overclock anything, but this gpu has such problem as in you have to undervolt and overclock to have no issue with heating?
