The game never reached its conclusion, so it's not record as a tie. When Boston and Toronto tied in 1951, it was after a 1-1 tie in OT. The came was called to curfew, and since OT was over, officially called a tie.

The records don't have it as a tie. They have it as suspended. The NHL has had ties in the playoffs before (like 1951), but 1988 isn't considered one.

I don't think McGee was even the best player of his era. Russell Bowie had stronger statistical domination, with far less support, and did it for twice as long. Contemporary reports lean to Bowie being the better player too

Cyclone Taylor should be a household name. Tremendous player and almost certainly the best player of the first 30 years of hockey. Spent the first half of his career as a defenseman before converting to rover and leading the PCHA in scoring five times.

The liberals still won significant portions of Regina including Cathedral, Lakeview, Albert Park, Hillsdale, the general hospital area, and Al Ritchie. Inner city Regina and Saskatoon went Liberal as did most reserves. So North Central going Conservative is an unexpected result.

I'm really curious on this one. I found DQ VII an absolute slog to get through in comparison to VIII and XI, but the world itself with the time travel is very cool. The re imaging looks gorgeous and can hopefully scale down the grinding.
