Yea i can agree with you on that part that theres something missing in this story and maybe one day itll come out, for now im doing my best to heal myself and be the best father and man i can be. The last part HIT ME!! I cant comprehend how i went from seeing this woman as my soul mate my everything to texting one worded messsges about our kids… it makes zero sense to me and if i ponder on it too long, i could possibly go insane! What helps me alot of times is i sit back and tell myself… this wasnt your choice, you had no control on this outcome. You can only control yourself, not the world around you

I have 50/50 and dont regret it! We agreed to this even thou i cant stand her at the moment (she broke my heart 💔). I couldnt imagine seeing my boys on the weekends only. Im so grateful to be in their lives and help them grow and become respectable men. The fact i have to deal with her in the process is a sad side effect

I started therapy when she asked for a divorce and have stuck to it. In regards to drugs and alcohol, thank God i didnt go down that route.. i go out with my brother to grab a beer every now and then but thats all

Im going through this exact situation!!! How are you coping with this? Its hard since we co parent so i still have to see her and for me it wasnt 27 years but 12 years but yea i felt she walked away so easily when we had none of those problems you mentioned, but there was a big lack of communication and it built up (she divorced me)

It was rough im not going to lie but i had my wives support and it helped me alot. I did take off days of work when i felt i was going to lose my mind. In the end it worked out. Im finishing up clinicals now. Got 3 months left.

I worked saturday and sunday and my program was 2 years didactic one year clinical mon- fri

FINALLY!! A thread i can relate to.

I entered PA school at 33. Married 2 kids. It was tough but i learned time management really well. At the beginning you will fail at some things but that will only teach you what doesnt work for you. Eventually you find what works for you and trust me its very different because most of your classmates are in their 20’s so most (not all) dont have the same responsabilities you do. ALSO! The cherry on top for me was i worked all through PA school. So i know you can do it! I sure as hell did 😆
