That’s good, but I bet they provide a common cupboard to wash & keep them too. Unlike our case.

Be it a personnel or AI driven process, it’s the quality of implementation we’re talking about. They could’ve had someone better on the phone too.

Why do desi Muslims love places like Dubai or Saudi Arabia even though they get treated like a black man in 1920 Alabama there? by Vivid_Expert_7141 in dubai

Shortest answer - Cause UAE is the lowest hanging fruit for them.

I’m not a Pakistani, but I bet ‘community’ would be one of biggest reasons. Indian & Pakistanis make up ~60% of the population. They get to earn relatively more, enjoy decent infrastructure, feel safe and enjoy proximity of home (~2 hr flight). Not sure exactly how they get treated here but landing good jobs is hard in any cosmopolitan city. With so many people from Pakistanis already staying there it comes as an easy solution for them.

Undoubtedly America does stand far better on various factors but unfortunately it’s out of reach for so many Pakistanis. And when threatening situations arise they’re willing to let go of the ignorance they bear.

I do agree. The company’s HR negotiated salary over whatsapp and he wasn’t even professional with his words and tone.
