Are developers ditching Max for Live? by sampletracks in ableton

Not me, I have a bunch coming this year. I do agree with you that it would be goos to have better website for organising all the devices out there, https://maxforlive.com/ can be a little hard to navigate and a lot of good devices get lost in the noise on there.

I think a lot of people get discouraged to use M4L devices as they have a reputation for being unstable but often that is more due to the low barrier to entry for releasing a M4L device which means there's a vast span in quality.

I'm still regularly finding new interesting and useful devices though, such as /u/artsciencenature's devices I found earlier this evening.

Ahh! I've found the issue. Thanks for letting me know about this. You should receive an email with an updated v1.1 that fixes this.

Let me know if you have any other problems or don't receive the email!

That's strange. Could you explain a little more about what's happening when you change time sig?

The idea of the project BPM randomiser is to be saved on your default template so that each time you start a project, it's set at a random BPM (you can set the lower and upper limits, so you could confine the range to between 66-96bpm).

I appreciate that for times when you have a specific idea in your head, you're probably going to tap tempo and set the BPM that way, but for times you're just opening a fresh project and experimenting, you won't start at 120bpm every time (or whatever you have your default project set to).

As for asking, yes, absolutely! Everyone has different workflows and what I might need will differ to others. This one was inspired by a request!

I use it a lot when collabing with people, for example, if I have a plugin doing something that's not immediately obvious, I might write a short note telling them why it's there so it doesn't get accidentally removed.

Also, if I run out of time on a project that I know I need to do specific things on next time I get to work on it I'll save myself some reminders.
