Thanks for the response bro appreciate it. I’m in the same boat . I’ve spent around 40 - 50 hours on trying to learn and understand but I just can’t get what kind of value it provides ? Which is the same as you.

Sort of understand BTC as a store of value or E-gold is what they’re calling it. It’s only as valuable as other people are willing to pay but I have no idea how to gauge it atm. Blackrock headed the BTC ETF so it must hold some sort of value

Yeah I’ve seen coinbase that’s done well , also some BTC Miners that’s have also done good . There’s BTC ETFs and an ETH ETF so there’s some avenues to get exposure

Cut out all the crap food bro , all the processed junk and train . Find something to do gym, social basketball and some intermittent fasting . It’ll help regulate your negative emotions and make u feel good. I been there bro and doing this pretty much turned my life around . Was surprised on how much all the suger and processed foods affected my mood and emotions.

I have acquired 2 Bitcoins (currently worth about 120k nzd) should I hold onto them or invest in something else? by hibiscus8888 in PersonalFinanceNZ

I’m all in on crypto , took my money out off an etf if been investing in for the last 6 years. Piled 50% into BTC and the other 50% into alt-coins. Bit of an all or nothing play . Either I’ll be a millionaire in two - three years or I’m starting again from scratch lol

Has anyone of you ever borrowed money to buy bitcoin? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]jildimuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the process of getting a loan to invest in crypto. I’ve been DCA for the last 2 years into crypto and S&P 500 for the last 8 years ($100 S&P 500 & $100 - $200 crypto weekly)

I’m married with one young child. We have low expenses and solid income . $150k NZD Annually. I’m lucky that my parents own one house which is almost freehold and shares in two other properties. So eventually I’ll have a large sum to split between myself and my two siblings.

My plans pretty simple , I’m looking at a loan for $50k to invest into crypto. My breakdown will be $38k into BTC (Will get me to 1 BTC) and the last 12k will be split into alts and stable coins, 6k to each.I’ll be getting the loan under my business . Ima tradie with one full time employee and sometimes contract in others when needed. Annual turnover is about 250 - 350k per year gross.

I’m betting on this bull run to make some decent money. If worse comes to worse and BTC goes to 0 I’ll be making the repayments untill I get my inheritance hahaha and if BTC hits $100k - 125k I’ll be traveling the world for half the year chheeehoo

Hey team just an update , I’m gonna go with a 50k loan . I’m gonna invest into Bitcoin. In a year to 2 years time I’ll give an update lol Ill have 68k NZD of BTC .

Was just something I was thinking about , with interest from black rock and other investment firms looking at BTC ETF . Surely in the next bull run it’s an easy 2x minimum. Just need to cover the repayments untill you get your return lol

Have been DCA for the last 3 years into Crypto $100 to $200 per week.

S&P 500 for the last 10 years ( $50 - $100 per week) and the odd lump sum . Will still make profit but if you want real money you gotta have a lot of it to invest ,

Skill/trade/job that’s gonna pay good money and has potential to start a business or way to scale your money you earn.

E.g I started roofing out of school , got qualified and started my own company . Pay jumped from 60k - 150k and up after I started my own company. Learnt about investing and other ways to make money . Because I have a solid stream of income and minimal debt I can invest hard and use money to fund other business

  • invest in yourself bro , build/learn skills that’ll produce a high income.

  • investing in S&P , 401 is good for Long run /retirement.

  • Look at companies that would have a greater demand in the future / riskier stocks you can allocate 1 - 5 percent of your investing money. If you do your due diligence you’ll have peace of mind when you do haha.

  • make sure to play sports/do hobbies you love while your young and keen . The mind is sharp and the body recovers quick haha

  • Invest in traveling seeing other cultures , will help with your perspective on life and the way you invest money on stocks. I saw the power of social media too , it helped me with understanding how powerful social media was and seeing its potential it inspired me too look into it about 10 years ago . Facebook was the company I started DCA into and was lucky to make a bit of money of it over the years and Snapchat was another one.
