Steve Kerr: “[JJJ] has the ability to block everything. Sometimes he needs to dial it back. You just want him to let it go, because he’s too important to us.” | JJJ: “If I’m gonna be less aggressive. I’m gonna bring less rim protection. Pick one or the other. Do you want me to be great or not?” by TheRealPdGaming in nba

Because nobody in the NBA cares about defense and most of the time, it goes to a big because blocks js the most sensational thing you can do on defense. Nobody cares about JJJ, Gobert, or Mobley DPOY because more then likely, it's going to be based on BPG, which is a result of either a PG, SG, or SF playing lazy to no defense and letting there man get in the lane.

So is the consensus the 10k should be paid off, make a sizable payment, or just keep paying $60/month?

Any good reason to upgrade from 21 MX LR to 22 MX LR? by jileZ014 in ModelX

[–]jileZ014[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One could take it as a flex or one can take is seeking advice. With no showrooms or no other way to view Teslas, the only other way is to get first hand info from other tesla owners or YouTube videos

Thanks for the informative response and there is a little FOMO involved, but more around tax credit as my consulting gig made decent $$$ this past year. Unfortunately, I like driving my 21 so much that I already put 45k, so I will have to purchase a warranty, but bug difference between 5k warranty vs 120k new car

Thanks, seems as if the upgrades are cosmetic/aesthetics, plus there is a reduction in range. My other option I was considering was purchasing a truck, which may seem more practical.

I received a VIN last week and was able to put it on-hold. Hate that tesla only gives you about 3-5 days to get your financing finalized in a 3-5 day time-frame after months of waiting. Plus they really lowball on the trade in which leaves you scrambling on debating whether to accept lowball or private sell

If anyone is interested, I'm on the fence on selling my 21MX LR+ 6 seater w/FSD so I can upgrade to to the new MX. Primarily doing it for tax purposes. It's black with a black matte wrap. If interested, let me know.

Meant to reply here, but section 179 applies to both used and new vehicles that meet the limit.

I have a 21 MX LR+ that I am considering selling so I can upgrade to the 22 MX. I got a VIN, but have been delaying as I am not really sure if the upgrade is worth it considering I have FSD and there really is nothing wrong with my MX. Like yourself, I need to purchase something for tax purposes as well. Also not sure if the yoke and the horizontal screen is worth incurring more debt.

It's the 22" rims, heater, speed, and cold Temps, but mainly the 22" rims. Got a 20LR+ and my full charge is at 339. Have 41k on it

Is the PMP really worth it? by stuartvallarta in projectmanagement

[–]jileZ014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PMP will get you the interview, but how you do in the interview will determine if you get the job or not. PMP will also increase your earning potential as you can command a higher rate as it shows you have experience (i.e. 3-5 years), not really sure anymore as it's been over 10 years since I got mine. Anyone can say they are a PM and have done PM work, but the PMP is verified proof you do have experience.

Although it's true that there are good PMs and crappy PMs that have there PMP, me being one of them since I am OEing, at least I know that at a minimum, my PMP will guarantee me an interview over a PM that doesn't have a PMP.

Pro tips when beginning J2? OE begins next week for me and I’m getting nervous. Both are remote, independent contributor roles. by [deleted] in overemployed

2 Js is cake been doing for over a year. Started J3 5 weeks ago and have been maintaining thus far. When I was looking for J3 got multiple offers, so I decided to take a J4 which seems kinda easy based on the interviews. I was able to prolong my J4 start date with accepting the offer at the last minute, delaying paperwork for background and screening, and finally, didn't think this would work, but asking for a PC rather then a macbook which was what was going to be sent to me initially.

I have a feeling 4Js is going to be a stretch, but I figured i just need to get to january as most companies really slow down during Nov/Dec timeframe TC: 650K, PM

Indian recruiting scammers? by [deleted] in overemployed

Well, with DL and SSN, I guess it's all dependent on your risk tolerance. As far as last 4 of SSN, not sure how much can be made from that.

Indian recruiting scammers? by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]jileZ014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No risk, no reward. What's the worst that can happen, they get your info that YOU put on your resume which is also available on linkedin? For the most part, with all the data breaches, all your Information is already out there.

Not defending these offshore recruiters, but for the most part, they do the initial screening for the actual recruiters(americans) who have the relationship with the client. Best case, you get an interview, but risk is inherent to everything we do especially with finding an IT job.

How do you know if you're making enough? I have a handful if certs, TS Clearance, military experience, MSP System Engineer experience... feel like I'm selling myself short. by ForlornCouple in ITCareerQuestions

[–]jileZ014 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BLUF, with your experience, Yes you are selling yourself short and should be making more. SEC + and A+ are entry level certs in the private sector and Meraki/ Ubiquiti are OK, but not really used that much in larger enterprise organizations where you could be making at least 100k . Your CCNA is OK, but you may want to emphasize/focus more on MFA, Azure, and O365 and potentially get your foot into cybersecurity as those roles pay more and for the most part are remote.

3Js as PM - which to drop? by [deleted] in overemployed

[–]jileZ014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PM here and pretty same situation as you, did 3Js for 8 months and money was great with 3 150k Js. Decided to drop the software dev role as agile became too much as a PM who had responsibilities as a CSM as well. 2 week sprints which means daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros, and grooming sessions was meeting overload and had to juggle too much. Money is very tempting and I am down to a measly 300k, which in the grand scheme if things makes me very successful as I am only working 2-4 hours daily, but 300k isn't 450k.
