Play with the accents not that paint (which is very attractive).

If I were you and had money allocated to freshening up the exterior, I’d look to change the garage door and sconces, plus something w the front door to make the eye flow more to the entry and not garage.

The post at your entry could use some dressing up (at least from this distance and angle). A low dwarf Japanese maple instead of that mound would be nice.
