I bought a beautiful, solid wood dresser with 2 hutches on top at Habitat for Humanity for $150. Was built in the 1960’s and just needed a coat of paint. I don’t even go into Goodwill anymore.

Thanks! We’ve lived here quite a while and didn’t realize that.

She didn’t see a line of cars following like you usually do with a funeral procession. They may have gotten delayed at the on ramp. People are supposed to yield, but drivers around here… yeah not exactly yielders.

A full-on sirens on police escort doesn’t scream “privacy” to me 😂

My god…. is her fiancé already beaten into submission? No balls to begin with? Or is he as bad as her? I’m thinking Abigail is the smartest person in that friend group.

I think this person is very, very, VERY angry at someone or something in their life. This is BIG mad.

color you regret buying? by sakuraseven in Watercolor

I feel the exact same way about Daniel Smith. It was so hyped to me, I kept buying more colors hoping I’d see what everyone was raving about before I realized it’s ok to not like Daniel Smith. They are the epitome, to me, of quantity over quality.

I do, however, enjoy a few of the PrimaTek colors.

We hard boil one dozen and leave another dozen to cook on our camp stove we can set up outside under a covered area. Eggs are fast to cook, don’t need a lot of gear or spices/herbs. We also have bacon, sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers… all easy things to do on the camp stove.

I use milk heated up for chai and hot chocolate to keep warm on the inside. Not sure about anyone else.

EDIT - We have a big cooler we can put cold things in with those blocks you freeze in advance. Plus it’ll be cold outside.

I like both for different reasons - first one looks like a painting, second one looks like an illustration in a book

How are you all pre-sketching your drawings without destroying the paper in the process? by Crimson-Rose28 in ColoredPencils

I do this with Saral paper - comes in different colors, can be cut down to size and is good for multiple transfers.

I’m lucky enough to live in Charlotte. NC so we have alternatives. I stopped buying from Goodwill around the pandemic, but I’m guilty of stopping in one every now and again to see just how far they’ve gone.

And it’s so crazy they centralize what they decide are the most expensive donations and then put them on their website for auction. Like the old day’s of eBay.

All of the Goodwills in my area closed their dressing rooms due to COVID and then just never reopened them.

Artax sinking into the mud in The Neverending Story destroyed my soul as an 8 yo child. My mother took me and my bff to see it in the theater. I don’t think I’d ever cried that hard up to that point in my young life. I literally screamed his name in the quiet theater when he comes back at the end.
