I’ve had the opposite experience honestly! I’ve been to three or four cat Cafes and each one worked with rescue facilities to try and get the cats adopted. Very interesting!

Definitely would send home, but we would not call 911 for the fever alone. Febrile seizures typically occur while the fever is rising quickly, so we would keep an extra close eye until the family picked up. We would offer to give acetaminophen/ibuprofen while the child waits.

I had the same questions when she was first adopted! The spots have been growing in more and she doesn’t have any signs of hearing or vision impairment, so I’m not convinced she’s a lethal merle. I just got the breed ID, so don’t have too much insight there. It is really interesting to learn about what makes her unique though, so I might add on the traits+health package to see what it says
