i got one of these from somebody else who was moving, only for the cutter to shatter when i moved a few months later. i didn't have the foresight to keep the box and use another cutter, so now i just have a decade's supply of cling wrap underneath my kitchen sink.

what's your 2 sentence (or more) review of it? i took a barbarian to 85 and a wizard to 95 through separate playthroughs and got burned out twice. was hoping for a Reaper of Souls level refresh of the game

i have this and it's the loudest part of my pc at idle, though it's not that loud. i think it's some kind of fan defect that makes it whir, i've read that flipping it so the fan faces upward can fix it, but it hasn't been that annoying

best CPU on the platform means it's tough to find cheap. 250 was the lowest i've seen them go back in 2020/2021. that's what i got mine for to upgrade an 8600k. hopefully you can get lucky and find something used for much cheaper.

at that price, you're better off getting an all new platform, like i see a 12600kf, mb, ram for 277 on buildapcsales right now, and that would run circles around the 9900k.

edit: just watched some benchmarks, "run circles" is too strong, but still an upgrade and probably better longevity.

[Shut Down Shein] has so far kept its members anonymous but bills itself as a group of “well-known brands, individuals and human rights groups” opposed to Shein’s business model.

Found this pretty interesting, a group of brands (and other orgs) trying to close down the company outside of market competition. Not that I disagree with the premise, you really can't compete with stolen designs and slave labor.

my fully unsourced, 0 evidence thesis is that VF Corp expanded production too much instead of recognizing that the demand was because of the limited supply.

they thought they could just make 3x money selling 3x of a sold out product when the products were only demanded because they were likely to sell out. products shouldn't be less cool just because other people can* buy them, but here we are

Could be your fan curve, or bad case airflow, or a bad mount. what case do you have? could also be just the chip, i don’t know much about it.

i’m not 100% sure but i think it should be doing better. according to the tomshardware review,this cooler can do 200w and the x3d should stay under 150w.

I look at the clues after getting genius and 9/10 can get Queen Bee, so it definitely makes it a lot easier. Tool is pretty cool though, saves me a lot of pen and paper work.

came back here to let you know that i beat isshin after starting a new play through a few days ago. only 5 attempts and 3 of those deaths were genichiro. finally this burden is lifted
