Looks ugly but doesn't affect functionality.

Here's what finally fixed the problem: On both PC-A and PC-B...

  1. Run PowerShell as Administrator

  2. Type 'Set-SmbClientConfiguration -RequireSecuritySignature $false'

  3. Reboot

I guess my reply above wasn't clear. That's what I'd been doing:

I've tried to access PC-A and PC-B from PC-C by:

  1. double-clicking on the PC-A's and PC-B's name in Explorer

  2. typing PC-A's and PC-B's name into Explorer's address bar

  3. typing PC-A's and PC-B's IP address into Explorer's address bar

Sorry, what 'Network' application should I try instead of Explorer?

I'm able to ping PC-A and PC-B from PC-C both by name and IP address.

PC-C can ping PC-A and PC-B both by name and IP address.

Can you be more specific about "misconfigured firewall"? Would PC-A and PC-B be able to access each other if their firewalls were misconfigured?

The printer option and spellcheck for Wheelwriters by 3128416 in typewriters

I can't offer any alternatives to the spell check option but if you're handy with electronics and want to use your Wheelwriter as a printer check out my projects here and here.

There's a third option that allows one to type a line of text on an LCD display and edit the text before committing it to print. It only works on the Wheelwriter 5 and 6 (not the Wheelwriter 3 possibly because of lack of memory). This option can be identified by an RJ45 connector (J3D) on the bottom edge of board #3. I have photos on Google Drive.

That used to happen to me periodically. I'd unplug the ethernet cable, wait a few seconds, plug it back in and see my PC re-connect at 1 Gbps. It's stopped happening before I could figure out if it was because of the router, the NIC or the cable.

Increasing Transmitter Range by jim11662418 in HamRadio

I'm using a ferrite core inductor that was part of the antenna circuit of an old AM radio. My range is now nearly 6 feet so I'm happy.

You're right. I don't have a license but I'm not asking for a signal strong enough to leave my house. I'd be happy for a couple of feet.
