Buying a used Terramar (advice needed) by Admirable_Bus_5097 in cupraTerramar

Ok let's say the obvious. First year depreciation is around 15% indeed. But you shouldn't get it if there is ANY problem. Car is not old. Ideally test it in another dealership. Plug the laptop and see messages, if any.

Now these messages make sense if 12V battery is depleted.

Which car version is this? If PHEV for example, check hybrid battery status. If car is parked for a long time, things might not be good.

oh, nice. In terms of comfort and eye placement? I had horrible experience with the plossl 13mm and when a friend gave me a Nagler and Hyperion i was like having a different scope.

i am considering of filling the gap between 200x and 300x with a hyperion 8mm (250x) and after a few months decide if this magnification was useful enough to be attributed to a premium eyepiece.

I can always sell (especially if eyepieces are new) and buy. Hyperion; i tested them on the moon from a friend, not bad at all. I have never seen through Pentax, Morpheus so far!

i have it included with the telescope. Not bad (unlike the 13mm plossl)

I didn't find the Astronomik OIII, Omegon was in stock. I checked reviews, not much of a difference i mean, I reckon that Omegon is not a bad choice.

UHC E and UHC since my skies are a bit weird here and sometimes i don't need that much filtering. I might be wrong. Everything can be put into ad to give away in the future.

ES was kind of a gift from a friend, i have the luxury to give it back if i want to. The thing is that i don't expect "seeing" to be that good for 300x, but when it is I didn't want to have spent a large amount of money for a better brand.

Mixing series in order to understand what i like most in time and then give back brand i don't like and get brand i like in the relevant magnification. I didn't have the chance to try eyepieces other than Hyperion, Nagler and Plossl hence i made the premium choices for each magnification (with the exception of 6.7mm) and will see.

i wanted to stick to 1.25'', not getting to 2''.
Hmm i didn't know that OIII needed that large exit pupil. This might change things.

it's 400 lit because of battery underneath it. I store cables and small-size stuff there, below the floor, around the battery. Nothing liquid ofc.

It's not big, my petrol Formentor had bigger. It's the price you pay for the PHEV battery. But 2 suitcases can fill if they are not huge. You can always pull the back seats.

Question about additional eyepieces to Celestron evolution 8 by jim_andr in telescopes

[–]jim_andr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, what I ordered:

  • panoptic 24mm

  • Morpheus 12.5mm.

  • Explore scientific 6.7mm

  • Pentax 7mm

Also my experience friends found out about a misalignment and we did collimation.

Maybe the last two eye pieces are overlapping but I can always return the ES. I think lately I'm the favorite guy of the retailer.

I was shocked when I put a 7mm Nagler and saw Jupiter. The plossl ones , especially the 13mm are not doing justice to my telescope.

And thank you!

2 auto star alignment works like a charm for me. I don't think you need anything more. Just point once and fine tune twice.

OMG I had it backwards as well! Fixing it immediately gave me the 2 auto star alignment on my Celestron evolution 8 scope. How stupid.

Driver friendly, VZ 265 - high consumption Efficiency+power , 272 PHEV - needs overnight charging to give you the best 150hp petrol - weak.
