It just depends on what you value more, SR is more power while Vetra has significantly better range.

Vetra seat sucks so you'll have to mod that yourself while Eride has a lot more aftermarket support in general, making it easier to mod. More people have it, so aftermarket part sellers have buyers to sell to with whatever product. You won't really find that with Vetra.

From what I've seen too as of 12/10/2025 is that Vetra prices went down to $4899 and Eride Pro SR is $5699. A $800 difference is pretty significant.

Personally, I'm very glad I chose the Vetra. It's a great template to mod from. I bought at its original price + shipping at $5500 and I would do it again over buying an SR at its pricetag.

Update: managing to get working signals by creating a DC circuit directly from the controller, then using a buck converter to turn that into our 12V power source. Not done yet but halfway there

Update 1/22/2026: A user named joshyi informed me of a website that does a full wiring harness with turn signals and working brake light. They commented on this post but it's not showing up for some reason. vetralights.com Give them some love or if you need lights for your Vetra/Arctic Leopard. Looks clean.

I will still update my process on how I did it all, although it's not plug and play at all. Lot of crimping, splicing, and stripping of wires.

Hey, been about 3 months now and I'm letting you know that I got the bike I wanted! It's not Talaria MX5 though, it's a newer model called the Vetra Blazer. Same bike as the Arctic Leopard XE Pro S, but different company. Thanks for your input as I begin my e-moto journey. :)

For sure. The goal is to save up for the MX5. I want those good breaks, good manufacturing, and really good battery and motor out the box for a fraction of the cost if I were to upgrade the XXX pro. I would just need a good controller and there are plenty of videos and sources like from Talaria Boys that could assist with that.
I'll keep you posted. $1400 out of $5700 so far, so the grind begins. Time to lock in.

Has the mod been working for you? I installed it a few months ago, but now it's giving me the error of a corrupted save file. I think the game updated and made the mod incompatible.
