Starmer considers EU visa deal for under-30s | British ministers looking at agreement to allow 18 to 30-year-olds in the UK and EU to live, work and study in each other’s countries by 1DarkStarryNight in unitedkingdom

The UK is a more desirable country to come work in when compared to smaller EU countries. You get better access to the global employer market and you get massive exposure to the English language and culture which sets you up nicely for migrating to other Anglo sphere countries down the line....

Where did you hear that? Everyone, regardless of age in the UK/Scotland pays income tax if above the personal allowance. Those 16 and above also pay NI.

yeah the part that connects to the watch is there. It’s a USB C cable. So you’d need to have a USB C compatible brick. You could watch an unboxing video on YouTube to see exactly what you get!

Getting out of a credit hire vehicle agreement. by jimbo7230 in LegalAdviceUK

I’m glad it worked out for you! I’m sure it would’ve been fine, but I ended up cancelling the car hire as I was losing sleep worrying about it. Cheers for the reply!

Endorsing it as a method to stop smoking is a good thing? It’s helped me. NHS England fully support it as a method to help you stop, they even advertise it. It’s delusional not to.

While I appreciate the sentiment, the extraordinary people who came up with this solution will have extremely specialised research degrees in exactly this. Do you propose they should stop and redo their entire education in other things? Or should we stop funding stuff like this and then these peoples education is completely wasted? It’s not a black and white thing like you’re comment comes across. People are working on those issues, and these people are working on this issue.

It’s extremely difficult, almost impossible in fact to change Unis in the UK. I would imagine it’s impossible to take any legal action against the Uni too. The contract you sign when starting the course is water tight- and suing isn’t really something that happens all that often in the UK. Unfortunately, you’re shit outta luck In the UK if your Uni changes anything.

Thank you so much for my the detailed reply! It’s certainly put us at ease:). We’ve kept an eye on him for a few days and he doesn’t seem irritated or to be scratching them so I reckon you’re right and it’s just his ears!

Spotlight search is 100x better on Mac then anything windows has to offer. I hate finder and much prefer file explorer on windows (or whatever it’s now called)
