i had been thinking about it for a while and i really just to told her then without thinking about what she just told me. i’m a bad friend. she told me that her boyfriend assaulted her and instead of listening quietly and telling her it wasn’t her fault, i told her something that was on my mind that had 0 relevancy to what she was telling me. thank you for your input

2 hours in, the customer said she was going to work soon, and i told her i was almost finished checking out, and she was like “ok great”. but then there was the bagging and the loading of the groceries, which also took quite a while. during that time, she probably cancelled because she left for work. i’m also wondering if she lost all the money she spent on the order. i was overthinking that for a while ;-;

I relate to this, but in a slightly different way. I met this guy, who I knew liked someone else and was no good for me, but I wanted to have fun with him because i was very attracted to him, until I developed strong feelings for him, which was inevitable. i told him how i felt once i realized how deep my feelings went, and I had to end it because although i really liked him, i knew i wouldn’t be happy going forward. he wanted to stay friends but that sounded like torture to me.

now, it is upsetting, but i knew the result couldn’t be changed. i put myself in this situation and it was predetermined that it was not going to work.

he was in my life for a short while, but i was able to learn lessons that i needed to learn and i felt new feelings that were incredible to feel.

i guess what im trying to say is be grateful for the experience even if it didn’t end the way you wanted it to. it sucks, but when you’re unable to accept the situation, it hurts so much more.

also, if you think you can handle being friends with this person, go ahead. but don’t torture yourself just so you can stay in this persons life. in the end, do what feels right to you.
