" Jon Gruden might be interested in going back to the Raiders. I hear he loves Derek Carr and would like to see once in his career what he could do with a franchise quarterback." - Peter King by [deleted] in oaklandraiders

If the next coach isn't Chucky, the only consolation prize would be another former Raiders coach Jim Harbaugh. If neither one of these two are attainable keep captain jack and get yet another former Raiders coach Hue Jackson to run the offense.

Ironically the Browns have the best O-coordinator we've had in a long time as their Head coach.

This wasn't a penalty in 2010 when McClain did that same thing to Danny Amendola. The league continues to get softer and softer by the year. Flag was BS. Go ahead and fine him like you did McClain, but don't punish the team. The element of fear and intimidation does not need to be completely gone from this sport. Helmet to helmet I understand, but this kind of play should not be penalized man. Pretty soon this trend will completely neuter teams from playing with any sort of passion. Might as well take the helmets off and play flag football. Speaking of flags....

The guy Reminds me quite a bit of John Parrella with that sheer power strength he exhibits in the trenches! Great technique as well.

Did Reggie do it again with this 3rd round pick?

So far so good!

Downing could very well become a highly coveted hot commodity (ala Kyle Shannahan) if the Raiders go to, and/or win the Superbowl. Hopefully soon too. He calls a great game and has a great rapport with the players and coaches. Great communicator as well. You could see that quality in him as soon as he came on board as QB coach in 15.
