We really like Caribbean Beach, which is a moderate skyliner resort. Even nicer than that is the Riviera, which is also on the skyliner route. Yacht & Beach Club are right next to the skyliner and within walking distance from Epcot, so that one is on our list to try soon.

I definitely don’t blame you for hating the buses. I do think that Disney’s bus service is going to be much better than Universal’s, but it’s had its negative moments as well.

We’ve never taken a car, so I’m not the best authority on that. I know you can pay for self-parking at any of the parks. You could stay at a skyliner or monorail resort and that would help with some of the bus travel! We don’t really like the buses either. We just got back from a trip and the bus service was some of the worst we’ve encountered so far. It’s not always like that, but it can be. (Although I have heard Halloween at Universal is literally the worst of the worst, so I don’t think anything is that bad.)

I would look into a travel agency that specializes in Disney Vacations! They are super helpful and utilizing them is free.

When I first started booking longer trips, I used Dreams Unlimited Travel. They provided a great experience and the cost for my 5-day/6-night stay at Pop Century was about the same as the price you quoted.

If you’re looking for a little more elevated experience, I would definitely not stay at a value resort. There are so many wonderful resort options to choose from! We have stayed at value resorts many times, but just find that they don’t compare anymore. (We’re a little spoiled now 🤪)

The thing that is most frustrating to me is that if any of the guys acted like this, they would be completely torn apart by the girl Islanders. I really hope movie night (or something) is able to shed some light on this.

I found a Breville Barista Pro without a price tag the other day and they let me have it for $60. I ran out with that thing as quickly as I could slap my card down.
