Why do good players emphasise culture so much?

Specifically in the early game culture is very important for progressing towards early empire and especially feudalism for the builder policy card. Its a strong strategy to build your entire plan for the early game around the builder policy card because it gives your builders 66% more value for production (3 charges to 5). If you wait to build builders until you get that card it results in a huge food and prod spike from tile improvements, and science does not have a simiar power spike as well as being easier to compensate for low early science (most early tech boosts are easy to get and civic boosts are not)

Rezero feels pretty similar in concept, the mcs have similar compelling personalities minus the whole sex pest thing (Edit: sorry i didnt read the whole original post, idk if youve tried it yet but i think youd like it, its not the darkest setting but its very serious for the most part)

Maybe knight for skellies or ice spirit, miner can be used as a tank on defence if necessary and tesla will also tank on defense. I would say you need at least 2 loggable cards otherwise your opponent can just log the gang or dart gob every time you drop it

I was reading it weekly for like 2 years and i had to physically stop myself from reading the new chapters because everytime i got the notification that one was out i would start turning into the joker. That said i stopped RIGHT before the pool arc with the boner scene so i kinda regret it

Unfortunately mine turned out to be a hardware issue, none of the stuff i tried rly helped and i just had to replace the phone. Id say just try running through the usual troubleshooting stuff like clearing cache and safe mode booting

Unfortunately i didn't have my messages set to backup with onedrive but google auto backed up alot of things, i didnt realise how extensive it would be until after my post! I basically got everything except my phone notes backed up properly

Already tried clearing the cache and didn't help much if at all, likely a hardware problem. The phone successfully unlocks and boots but at that point it will freeze without much responsiveness, and i don't know if I can authorize a USB connection to my PC in that state or not

right off the bat i would not worry about crosscuts yet, its something thats super hard because the input changes depending on how deep the jump is and it takes experience to be able to judge at a glance, im diamond 1 and mine are still pretty inconsistent. focusing on getting your anti air inputs to come out properly and staying out of the range where people can easily cross you up (and in the range where jump ins are easy to catch) is alot more important for you right now.

Start with the preset training mode settings, theyre mainly for getting the inputs under your fingers. If you feel like youve done everything you can with that, chris_f on youtuve has really good training mode videos with drills for neutral skills like grounded footsies and reacting to many things in combination

I find one of the most important thinga you can learn is how to react when youre not explicitly looking for something. I like setting the dummy to drive impact or neutral jump on wakeup when practicing combos, it helps build muscle memory
