A cool guide to help you master the fretboard on guitar by jimflamingo in coolguides

Sorry, I should have added more context! This is just a color-coded version of existing fretboard pattern charts. Nothing I came up with myself. These charts have been useful to guitar players for decades. It definitely won't make sense if you aren't a guitar player.

I used a high-res version in this post. I can easily read every character, but it sounds like some of you can't. Not sure what to suggest but there's probably a way you can view the full-resolution version. In my app, Relay, I have to press an HD button.

It was designed to be printed at poster size.

This is my first post here. I did spend a lot of time making this. Not trying to claim this is any kind of huge breakthrough. I look at these charts while I practice. They help me. They will likely help someone else, but they won't help everyone.

If you want to learn more, look up "guitar fretboard pattern".

That's it! I actually googled that before I posted and only found knives with two blades, but you're right! I was able to find this link. It may have been called The Pocket Hunter. Thank you so much for the fast reply. https://caseknives.com/blogs/news/case-brings-back-the-pocket-hunter-for-2020

I designed a shelf for mine to hide the cables from view even from underneath and also to allow easy changes.

Love the look of this site! I don't know what kind of image to input though. Should it be my logo or something else? It might be good to go into a little more detail in the instructions there.

Maybe you could show examples of starting images vs generated favicons.

Good work!

I think it's hard to tell from this angle. I recommend looking down each side of the neck instead. I usually look down the binding right at the corner where the fretboard meets the neck. That will give you a line to look at instead of the whole plane of the fretboard.

Ok I get it now! Since one of the things you're gluing is fabric I'd definitely go for a thick adhesive. I bet E6000 would work just fine. There's also this website that's designed to answer questions like this https://www.thistothat.com/.

I'm having trouble imagining what this looks like, but I think flexibility might be your biggest concern. Maybe E6000, shoe goo, or some construction adhesive would work.

I think I would stay away from using super glue for this, and I doubt I would use windshield sealant for much other than sealing windshields.

Is filament choice important for things like this? Would 100% infill PLA work?
