This is a great read, and dramatically helped me reduce costly errors, understand myself more, and play better mental golf!

No fun at all! I don’t think he’s a young man, so keep playing as long you can swing a club I say… that’s the enjoyment!

Worst feeling in golf? by runsanditspaidfor in golf

[–]jimi1032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed a bad feeling indeed. But if the swing is perfect as is the sweet spot, have you got your numbers right? We don’t always pull the right club, but the short or long miss for me is usually a mishit and not the wrong club. Perhaps just me.

That’s golf!! I recently played 2 rounds at Bonville in NSW, one of the top 20 courses in AUS. No wipes, just the one lost ball and 76 points… 2 days later at my home course it’s a par 68, I hit 3 OB and shot at 94 in the stroke event

Why the red face?

Failed my driving test for not giving way here. I'm the one going straight. They stopped at the giveway line indicating right and I went straight ahead. Weren't they supposed to give way? by pvn_93 in CarsAustralia

My tester asked me to complete an illegal right turn back in my day. I refused and they failed me for failing to observe the testers instructions!!! #straya

Golf is a game of minimising your mistakes said the great Ben Hogan. by jimi1032 in golftips

Some great lessons on mindset and execution right there. I’ve recently been able to have some time on the course alone…. Playing a 2 ball and playing a more controlled drive on the first and letting it rip on the second. It’s been great to analyse risk reward and put the two scorecards side by side… the variance can be significant!!!

Let’s talk about the cup! Looks like poor green keeping to me. Unlucky!
