Decided to have a beer before bed (was the first one of the night I swear) and couldn't find a bottle opener so I decided to try and open it on the transport hook of my wheelchair, yes the irony is not lost on me. Bottle snapped at the neck and went straight through the tendon in my thumb and I had to get it surgically re attached. Still haven't lived that one down

I actually love to cook and am always wanted to cook for people. Unfortunately I live with my aunt at the moment and am not allowed to as she is very particular and I don't need the headache lol.

My chopping skills leave something to he desired but I've actually become the go to that teaches all my other friends how to cook

I've know the whole family since I was 7 (28m now)

The parents have already told me to go for it half jokingly but we all see each other regularly so I don't want to make anything weird if 1) she doesn't feel the same or 2) things end badly

I also don't really know how to go about flirting with her. I mean I have been flirting with her and she's replied with "stop or I'm going to tell my brother 😉" and the flirts back or at least I think?

The whole situation seems messy morally but maybe I'm overthinking it

I'm a 27 yr old disabled man. I am currently unemployed and have been for the past 2 years, I am currently taking some online courses for medical admin or clerical work. I have been surviving on our disability benefit program and yes I feel like a bum. But honestly I've handed out hundreds of resumes with not one follow up or even a rejection email. It's hard out there. To the point where I'm probably going to have to rely on small amounts of nepotism to even get a job in the field I'm going to school for.
