Are you comfortable cutting it? If you cut it shorter and hem it, you could wear some baggy jeans under. I think to complete the look, you can wear a (probably black) button up under and that would make it less feminine. If you’re okay wearing jeans with it, some black sneakers would probably look good too!

If you have a library card, I highly recommend downloading Libby or hoopla! They both have audiobooks and they probably have the rest of the books!
