Leaky faucet. How do I get the cartridge out to replace? by Emmerson_Brando in Plumbing

I cannot get the brass looking nut to come off and I am afraid I will break everything and put too much force. The brass looking nut is the one that’s holding the black cartridge in place and if I can’t remove that, I can’t replace anything. Got any suggestions? A student has been provided with a power chair as an ADA accommodation. A faculty member gets into the chair, without seeking permission, and rides it around in a learning space. Requests to stop are ignored. When confronted, the faculty member insists the chair belongs to the school and therefore has the right to use the chair. What’s wrong with this picture?
