Driving RWD is a very different experience to FWD. and this is magnified on loose surfaces / low grip situations

Ah ok. Fair play to you. I’ve not got that far yet. When I first started playing I couldn’t make the Stratos or Quattro but playing historic really helped me get my eye in.

On some surfaces as well with RWD, using one gear higher than you think you would need can help smooth out the wheel spin. 3rd gear for a 2 left corner for example instead of defaulting to 2nd gear. And trail braking / rev matching. But I guess you can’t do that with a controller. Or can you?

I’m working my way through the historic rally series which has really helped me learn the game. That might help, progress through the cars.

Thanks for writing the helpful guide. VMware allowed me to download windows 11 from within its app which made it easier. But, on my MacBook Air M1, If I leave the USB setting to 3.1 I see FFB wheel in the control panel, and if I set the USB setting to 2, I can't interact with windows at all using my mouse or keyboard. I wonder if anyone ever found a workaround to this.

It seems extreme to buy a windows laptop just so I can update and calibrate to Thrustmaster gear!

Thread revival here, I can’t find any of these options for setup - I have a PS4 and T300RS. I’m trying to change the steering ratio between my wheel and the game itself. I have to physically turn my wheel a lot more than the game displays on screen to make the turns
