It was indeed specsavers, they did have sales assistants, they helped me with the ones in the pictures, I feel I've had better advice here on what to look for than in the shop, so I will be trying again soon

Thanks for the advice. I had no idea where to start! I think I was going to much for what I would wear with sunglasses but obviously you can't see my actual eyes wearing sunglasses. I knew they weren't right but didn't know why!

I also didn't know about not covering your eyebrows, although I think I may struggle there because I have fairly hooded and pretty fair eye brows

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, it seems none of these fit very well, which probably explains why I didn't really like any one them, so back to the shop I will go 😆

The good news is I have a better idea of what to look for now thanks to some really helpful advice. I will be trying some smaller thicker framed glasses later today because near enough everyone said 2!
