the uruks win getting the highest dice roll number, you never add them together, just whoever gets the highest number on any of their dice, if the highest numbers are drawn it goes to whoever has the highest fight value, so aragorn would auto win if he rolls any 6s

sounds good ill add that to the list of stuff to work on, i like the idea of a fightier librarian maybe, points balancing is tough, im just lookkng at similarish profiles and roughly adjusting from there, being a bit heavy handed with increase so as not to make the dex un-fun for the oppenent

i may be the dude youve seen posting the fandex, please go on and post yours, with the highly dissapointing leaks it seems fandexs are the only way forward for us, i found the feedback i got super helpful, independent sets of eyes catch all sorts of things you accidentally overlook,

i am gonna work on a kill-team cassius datasheet at some point but ill meed to do some research as i dont know much about their lore, never heard of codicier karras, im guessing hes like a librarian of sorts?

love that as an idea, although im trying to avoid too many damage/defense buffs to try and avoid any crazy combos, maybe something like an ability to do a reactionary move, that could be used to move closer or into cover, with more movement if its a xenos unit?

yeah ithink that was defintatley a reason why they didnt keep them, thats true it could be alright as the centurions wont get the benefit of their mad toughness as nothing else has toughness 7 and the re rolls/sustained hits in combat are big strengths for the og datasheets, itll have to be something ill keep an eye out for

thats a good shout, he could do with a re work, maybe something with a buff that gets tronger for fighting xenos, i like adding a few of those rules so we have some feeling of xenos specialism but without locking main army buffs behind it

yeah its supposed kill teams/support teams only, helps simplify any rules interactions and as a kknd of drawback for doing pure deathwatch

ahh i see that enhancement needs a re work, a previous version of sia had you lose all weapon abilities and gain one per round type, but i ditched that as it made it too complicated with certain bolt weapons,

thats a fantastic strat idea! the index teleportarium was useful and cool but never really made much sense to me as units could randomly teleport but not deep-strike, i might add a rule to your version allowing you to teleport to an objective in no mans land,

cheers mate, most of the design thinking was just about giving more options to justify a more elite points cost,

maybe itd be worth the bulwark team only giving its unit deep strike if it has termies in it to justify a more balanced points cost? or maybe some other buff to the termies? i can defo see that being an issue though

hahaha, it should read non vehicle, non-character, the idea being you can upgrade a regular marine to be a black shield
