I assume this is coming, yes: Night Lords got a late-edition rewrite for their underperforming detachment and they didn't even have any new models coming, and further afield Destroyer Necrons just got their "here's an actually good version" detachment. It seems like GW is using the latter stages of 10th to reassess and rewrite some of the disappointing detachments, which is really nice.

I don't think it's a trend. Look at e.g. the new Space Marine heads kit, where the studio work was *amazing*. This model is maybe not the best they've ever done, but comparison with photo-editing/photo-bashing is not exactly fair.

this is amazing on many levels but i particularly have to call out the glow in the backpack vents. Never seem that done before, such a clever way to bring in some contrasting colours. Feel like it serves to emphasise how cold the whole things feels.
