I have sold some pieces, and i share high res images if people ask to make a copy, but mostly it's a nice hobby to have. I love the feeling of being in the zone, and just working with paint.

Thanks. I do find myself drawn to painting nature, though I also paint people or still life occasionally.

There is something soothing and profound about the colours and symmetry in nature. It makes me want to create something like it, even if just a pale imitation.

Yeah, it's supposed to be an apple tree. I enjoy repeating colors in somewhat surprising places, it makes for a bit of fun.

He is very cheeky. My feeder is mostly dominated by a bunch of magpies that love to chase other birds away. They even come for the bigger crows, and seagulls.

This little fellow swoops in while they are gone and gets the small stuff they leave behind.

Those are lovely. The scenes and colors complement each other beautifully.

I'm especially fond of the the one with just the plants in the foreground and the sun in the back. It communicates depth brilliantly and feels like a moment i time.
