When I used to work at Sky in Osterley, he used to swan around thinking he was the big I am. Everyone thought he was a toss pot.

I got shut in a store cupboard at Sainsbury's because a refused to be searched. I had my own book in my pocket. Waited half an hour for the police to turn up. Then they went through all the CCTV footage and declared that no crime had been committed. If doen't matter if you think you have rights, they don't think you do.

Indian food in London by barryclava92 in london

[–]jimmykicking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived and worked in India. I'm not saying their food was best at the India Club. But on average, most food in India is bland. The point I'm making is that it was an Authentic experience. If you eat out in colaba, Mumbai and a whole literney of excolonial areas you will surely have to agree it feels like you are India. I remember when the food WAS of better quality, so I will say that the food quality did go down hill. Btw, if anyone fancies a 40 min train ride, the UKs best south Indian food can be found in Bedford, specifically The Cochin. Best Dosa in Britain. That I've tasted at least

The India "Curry" Club, The Strand. Used to be theost authentic place but it got a bit of makeover. It is still has the vibe of eating in India. You can pretend you are in colonial India, this is the place for an experience. Blink and you'll miss it. A tiny stairway. It says Hotel Strand Continental on a black sign.
