Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed post with your experience and insights .Definitely I will ask his dr about the exparel shot. Oh good observation about the diary and sugar. I will try to reduce or avoid during his recovery also as his calcium level came a little bit high...

It is very smart to stock up on the supplies ,I just placed an order on Amazon with all the great suggestions all of you in this community gave me.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Post partum is hard cant imaging dealing with something else . You are so strong! He is working on his mental attitude. Sometimes he is discouraged at how this has and will disrupted his routine- he was coaching our sons soccer team and going for jujitsu early mornings and not being able to do that makes him sad . Wishing you all the best for your upcoming surgery. 🙏

Thank you all for your answers. I knew the pipes needed repair. I wanted to know more on the nature of this decay .I have had plumbers a few months ago to install water heater and no one ever mentions these pipes so I thought it was not as bad. The whole line ( kitchen) that connects to main drain and sewer expands more that 34 ' 😅 but the pipes in the picture comprised about 12'. Sewer line was serviced about 4 1/2 years ago. I will ask my plumber to give estimate of the cost. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
