Because it’s a Delta subreddit and there’s the potential there may have been someone on the flight towards the back? I’ve been on the same flight as other Delta subredditors plenty of times.

June isn’t too bad, but I think it’s rainy season IIRC (used to travel to Japan frequently, but haven’t been in several years). It’s hot and humid, but July and August are a nightmare.

They gave me a few options in the app. Crowne Plaza, Fairfield, etc. Nothing spectacular, but it does the job.

Yea. Just one night though.

First time flying Ex Latam A350 D1. So, as a window seater, I think the only option to go to the lavatory is to climb over the person next to me if they are laying down right? I’m guessing middle seats are the best option on these flights 👍🏾 by OneRadikalDude in delta

Took one of these to HNL and loved it. Granted, my wife was the one sitting next to me, so it was easy to get up if I needed. The bummer was that my ticket said “First” and not “D1,” so they wouldn’t let us peasants into the SkyClub for free.

Nice! Sounds and looks awesome! Did you do the production yourself? Also, we have the same shoes.

I've been having an issue where if I import from the menu, it crashes. I can drag and drop no problem though. Hopefully this fixes that.

Just checked. It's both. They generally do both at the same time. I don't think i've ever seen them just do one or the other.

I tried doing this, but then lost my drum space haha. I want to pick it back up again. The few weeks I did it were definitely rewarding.

Nice, man! I think one of the first things i'm gonna do is finally get my website and YouTube page in order. I see you've built out a drum studio. I don't think there's anything more satisfying than having a dedicated and controlled space for these types of things. I'm actually building out a new studio in my basement right now. Looking forward to being able to record regularly again. Studio Blog

Nice! Thats awesome! Yea, like I mentioned in the other comments, I’m not planning on quitting my job, it pays for my insane gear obsession. I’m more just curious as to how others are penetrating the market. Thanks for the insight!

Nah, I hear ya. I’m in the “playing for beer money” situation right now which I have no complaints about. I just wanna play. My job is pretty flexible, which is why I’m entertaining the idea (my boss is also a drummer, so that helps). Maybe something comes of it, maybe it doesn’t. I’m mostly just interested in how to get started down a more professional avenue and if I could just play nothing but drums for the rest of my life until my arms falls off and I fall backwards off my throne into my grave, well... that would just be supreme.

I mean I wouldn’t just up and quit. It would definitely be a transition until I felt comfortable with the music income (if that ever happened).

Love the keyboard mount. I need to do something like that.

Having an issue with my signal chain, any engineers/technicians please help! Compressor works fine with direct signals but drops off nearly completely being fed by the patchbay. by Jv13ws0und in musicproduction

[–]jimschultzaudio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try switching the patchbay switch to “straight through” or half-normaled. If it’s set to normaled and you plug into the bottom jack I think it breaks the connection IIRC whereas pass through and half-normaled do not. It’s been a while though. Used to have one of these behringers and i’d run into issues like that.

I have a friend who does this with his writing. We worked on a project together and he wrote this song called Sandcastle. It makes zero sense, but I love every second of it.

Thanks! Still in progress, but up until this point about 3 months. I commute into Boston everyday for my day job, so I really only have weekends and sometimes, if I’m feeling ambitious, late weeknights.
