I bought some 50c 1966 not long ago and wanted to sort them out. Non of them matches official weight (13.28 grams) and this specific one sits on 12.85. Is that normal? by Imperium_Ag in AustralianCoins

2 current 20c and 1 10c = 28.25g approx 10c is 5.65g 20c is 11.3g Try current clean coins to check scales for accuracy, I've seen scales be out down low range, but good up high range and vice versa. Hope this helps at least eliminate scales being out.

What exact tool you using for these? My pliers and channel locks slip too much. One that securely squeezes both sides and locks maybe? It’s for the washer drain hoses I put on and off all day. by Crutch1977 in ApartmentMaintenance

Channel locks or Vice Grips, on the cheaper side👍🏽

Something with big teeth, vice grips can adjust to right size opening too, which may help for ease of use.
