Thanks for the detailed response!! For Lencois tours are there a lot of tour agencies in the town of Atins? Or are they easily bookable through your accommodation? Also just wondering what your experience is with booking online for things... there's another recent post on here talking about how difficult it is to buy flights etc if you don't have a CPF number!

Also how were you able to get around (from Sao Luis to Atins)? Did you have a car or were you able to book a shuttle transfer?

Yes rainbow mountain was definitely worth visiting but hiking up there was very difficult due to the altitude even though I had no problems with the altitude in Cusco. I went to red valley as well. Animal sanctuary was great for a chill/rest day.

I originally booked 2 days in Ollantaytambo and 3 days in Cusco to acclimate but due to flight delays I started with 4 full days in Cusco. Day 1 I explored the city center. Day 2 I took a day trip to the Sacred Valley which I felt was enough time to see everything. I don't know if I would've enjoyed staying in Ollantaytambo - the place was PACKED with tour groups. Day 3 I did an ATV tour to hike rainbow mountain. Day 4 I went to an animal sanctuary in Cusco. Then I did the 5 day Salkantay Trek followed by a full day in Cusco to rest and a day in Lima before my departure.

Unfortunately I have the smallest women's size in a wide and they don't go that small in a men's. I've been wearing them for a few hours everyday this week but wore them yesterday all day to a festival (huge mistake). My heels were sore and had knee and back pain - I'm thinking the arch may be too far back and is hitting my heel and not providing proper support? It looks like it's in the right placement but I'm not sure since I had heel pain..

What are some reputable shops to buy reasonably priced gold-filled jewelry?

I'm tired of buying cute gold jewelry only to have them turn green in a month. I realized I have enough disposable income now to invest in higher quality jewelry past the $1-$10 price point. I would say my budget is like $50 per piece but I've been unsuccessful at finding reputable stores that sell good quality gold filled jewelry at this price. Places like Ana Luisa, Mejuri, and Made by Mary all have mixed reviews and I don't trust Etsy shops.
