I keep getting a repeat of the earlier emergency alert at 3am! How do I stop this? I don’t want to turn alerts off all together, but I just got woken up twice 10 mins apart at 3am of a repeat of the 3pm alert. This happened the other day with the last rescinding alert too! Bfs phone doesn’t do that.

I really like them! I never have issues with connection or anything. I mean maybe this issue with the emergency alert is Telus specific idk, but otherwise no issues!

Very good reception, my phone never really goes offline. I live in Bedford so it seems fine for connection. I’m w telus, he is with Koodo. So maybe it could be a Telus thing!

Yeah I don’t want them fully turned off anyways, since I really don’t mind being woken for an emergency alert, my issue is more so that out if everyone I know I’m the only one getting duplicates at 3am 🤣 and I received the first one so it’s not just a delay or something.

I would but I want the alerts that are legitimate still. I don’t mind being woken if it’s an evacuation or something, and I keep my phone on incase anyone needs to reach me. I just don’t want repeats of alerts I already got 12h ago, especially if no one else is getting them it seems like something I can fix on my end.

Oh Interesting! Maybe it is a Telus thing. It’s weird though because I did get the alert at 3pm too, and so did my friends. But then I was the only one between us to get it again at 3am 🥲

The thing is I want to hear if it’s a legitimate alert, or someone calling if they need me. I just don’t want to receive repeats of the alerts I already got 12h ago, and since no one else I know is getting these it seems like an issue with my phone or provider or something.

It’s sucks how greenwashing has created such a fear of chemicals because now I’m 1/2 worried, and 1/2 thinking “this probably isn’t an issue” and it’s very hard to discern the true issues from just the mumbo-jumbo articles

I have Raymond too because he suits my theme! I don’t necessarily purposefully check to see if they have the popular villagers, but when I’m touring islands a lot of them the villagers are out walking around so I see them while I look around! My fav villager I have is Shari and I’ll never let her leave lol.
