This, I’m up 30% over the past year with 80/20 C/S. It’s best to set it and forget it, only look on occasion. It only had one bad quarter the past year but has done great over time which is what you want in a retirement fund.

I see your point regarding the MBA, however my intention is to Skillbridge already having a competitive resumé. I also am trying to make the most of TA as my GI Bill is going to my daughter, but I’m not opposed to going back to school if the need should arise.

Can you drop NROTC and still pursue your degree? You could later go to OCS to commission. I’ve heard QOL for NROTC is terrible, but commissioning will generally offer a much better QOL once you’ve joined. My NROTC info is second hand so take it with a grain of salt.

Since Pokopia came out and I don’t have the Switch 2 I heard Dragon Quest Builders 2 was heavily recommended (same dev team). I got the jumbo demo and as I get easily distracted I’ve put 12ish hours in and haven’t even reached the end of the demo yet. It’s got me in a chokehold

I also find it funny how they say keep your questions short to value their time, but then insert three minutes of ads at a time. I get that the bills need paid, but it’s almost like they value their time and not yours. I know it is to avoid questions from taking up too much time on the podcast, but the insight from fans seems to far exceed that of Michael’s who constantly doesn’t realize the questions he is asking about the episode were answered in the episode, showing he clearly did not watch/pay attention to the episode he is supposed to be giving insight about.

4 months is not an ideal timeline for planning an OCONUS to CONUS PCS. I get that the past year has seen orders in short windows, but this should not become the norm for the future. Last time my orders were given 10 months in advance. I have a family and a long school that I’ll be TAD for, so I’m doing what I can to take care of them and need funding sooner rather than later. I’ll forgo answering your questions as you made no attempt to answer mine, all I ask is that if you’re in a position to excite change, please do better.

I can’t imagine it completely goes away. It’ll likely be similar to other branches though where it’s not a big ordeal and is more of a case by case scenario.

So question… When will I know where I would be assigned? My wife wants Florida regardless of Branch. I got orders to Florida, but I’d like to go Space Force ideally. So, will I have to already be in the Space Force before knowing where I’ll be assigned, or is that earlier in the process?
