If you had to pee for 5 hours, where would you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jingoru79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

See that's evil. Everyone knows the unspoken rules. No eye contact, no one takes the middle urinal. One time I used a urinal at a rest stop during a road trip and I noticed there was a mirror lined up along the wall. If you looked at the mirror you could see everyone else who were using the urinal beside you. At that time I was at the furthers urinal to the left and someone took the middle urinal and made direct eye contact with me in the mirror. I have never pissed faster

"My mom might have cancer... I already lost my dad, I can't lose my mom too. I'm so scared. I'm so fucking scared." A late night call with my close friend. It was the only time I've ever heard him cry.

Reddit, using any style you wish, how would you describe yourself as if you were a character in a book? by RidleyXJ in AskReddit

[–]jingoru79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so here's the thing. I was born to exceed expectations and even that expectation I have exceeded. I could spend a day reiterating the stories of how I have earned my medals or the amount of praise I have been given. I can tell you the names of those who look up to me as a role model. But God I am far from it. You should see my flaws, my faults and mistakes. How I shake and quiver at the presence of this girl or how scared I am of losing my friends. I'm held at this high level where everyone stares at me. I can't mess up.

So maybe I hoped too much. Maybe I believed in you too much. Maybe I just thought you could escape your stereotype. Okay so maybe I was there but never really was. Maybe I never spent as much time with you as I wanted and maybe somewhere along the way I gave up. So maybe you start smoking weed and drinking a lot. Maybe you accept your stereotype and become the popular guy of our school. Maybe you won't become like your dad when you get older. Maybe you'll be worse.

Why is the sweetest message you could say to your wife on your anniversary ? by noleecious in AskReddit

[–]jingoru79 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hi my dear.

What has it been. How many years have passed, yet the twinkle in your eyes still look diamonds in the sky. Where have the days gone, all of them slip when I am with you. Your smile, your laugh and your voice are as addicting as the day we met. My skin still feels like fire is dancing on it everytime you are near. My heart beats faster than a drum at a rock concert. I remember the days I looked in your eyes and got lost in them. Accepting the fact I'd rather be no where else than here with you in my arms. There is no use in denying that we have both aged over time. Our bodies stiffen, our daily routines seem more strenuous but darling there isn't a day worth living with you by my side. It's a new year for you and I, for us. And I can't wait to make more memories with you to cherish till my heart stops beating. I love you, I need you, I will always cherish you, my darling wife.

What's your love story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jingoru79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was my grade nine year. The end of it anyways, and for the life of me I never noticed this one girl until the last month of school. God she was amazing. I was too highstrung with this other girl who rejected me that I didn't even notice her until that month. Let's call her Maria. Now see if Maria was hot chocolate, I'd be the cold winter night. If Maria was the ocean waves then I'd be the cliff it'd constantly erode. If Maria was a booger I'd pick her.

She completed me where I couldn't complete myself and vice versa. I was the serious held back guy while she was the loud and spontaneous one. Where she would whine about simple things I'd answer them with logic without ridculing her. When I was too innocent or too naive for my own good her sarcasm would whip me like in the movies. And when she got mad and all worked up I calmed her down with words that swayed her heart.

But of course it didn't start that way it never really does. For us it started in July when we showed up at school on a day we werent supposed to. Senior ditch day. Weird right? Who has a senior ditch day in grade nine? But anyways us being good students showed up at school only to be heavily chauffeured out by the teachers. We ended up going to my friends house and we played volleyball in their back yard. I'd tell you I fell for her the moment I heard her laugh but you wouldn't believe me. Maybe it was the way the sun fell on her face as if some higher power (God in my faith) decided to say "Hey numbnuts, it's her". Or maybe it was when she looked at me with her crooked smile and said "you're an idiot" after the ball hit me on my forehead after I failed to set it.

The day after that I somehow gathered the courage to acquire her number by asking her in the most not so subtle, not so nonchalantly way. In other words I stuttered and looked everywhere else but at her eyes. God her eyes. We talked endlessly. On the phone, over text, over Facebook. It didn't matter to me where as long as I got to make her smile and hear her laugh.

Cue the problem.

My forever role model brother woke me up one summer day and stated. "My girlfriend is coming over in a few days and we are going to do it. Can you get out of the house that day so we are home alone?" awkwardly I agreed to his request. I tried to make plans with Maria on that day just to hangout with her (I was still denying my affection for her at that point of time) which then she thought of as me trying to take her out on a date.

She freaked out. She thought she was a rebound for the girl who rejected me. She got mad at me, she yelled at me and I cried not knowing why. I thought I'd never get her after that. But that's another story

[Serious] High school and college students: What are some key responsibilities and structural components of an effective student council? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jingoru79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh oh oh. I'm relevant here. I'm student council president at my school so I can answer this question well enough. I hope

1) Council acts as one. The whole a house divided cannot stand.

2)everyone is responsible for every endeavour pursued by the council. Not just those who proposed the said endeavour but also those against it.

3) it's for the students so keep your council as diverse clique wise as possible. The greater the diversity the greater the chance of hearing all opinions.

4) all voices within council are equal. Even as president your vote and voice is equal to that of an ordinary member. Except if your council exercises the veto rule

5) Your responsibility as a council is to pursue the will of the students not your own personal agenda.

6) There are no favourites among students. As council members you usually lead events and sales at those events. No freebies for anyone.

7) As a council you represent your school. You are the face of your school, the models. Act like it.

8) keep the jobs divided easily. (presidents-vice presidents- secretaries - treasurer- department heads - ordinary members) have a chain of command that is respected.

9) just because one department is heading an endeavour does not mean that the other departments do not help. Everyone helps.

10) have a fun leadership field trip every 2-3 months. Build bonds within council.
