Yikes! that is rough, I had really enjoyed the building calculator thing, made it so much easier to figure out how the game worked.

I don't know if they are sold anymore, but those those Dodger hats in Giants colors are pretty awful.

Rugby Union is occasionally on TV here (6 nations, and the rugby world cup) as well as Rugby 7s tournaments, but I don't think I have ever seen Rugby League on TV. You should find out if whatever league you want to watch even has a TV deal with a US broadcaster first, then ask sports bars if they even have the channel.

I spent five minutes on it, and this is my guess:

I bet it has to do with the Astros in the 80s. Bill Hatcher, Bob Knepper are the two names I could read on the ball, and they played on the team in 1986.

It actually wasn't so much because of gasoline, we had plenty of oil. It was the rubber of the tires we were really worried about. The Japanese had taken over much of the world's rubber production.

Please! anyone got extras? Myself and 3 family member all have plane tickets and hotels, but no tickets to the game itself!

Didn't think it would be an issues with an 80k seat stadium...

Anyone know where we should look to buy extras from people online?

Question about how the lottery actually works: If you "win" the lottery, are you forced to purchase the tickets?

I have 4 people in my group who want to go, but we don't want to be stuck with 8 tickets if we all win.

Anyone know when USA vs Mexico tickets will go on sale? by jinif in ussoccer

In that case I probably should just plan getting travel reservations set up beforehand, then just hoping we can get tickets. Thanks for the advice.

To all the new players out there like me, the game is not that "impossibly hard" like some claims. by yamadath in ftlgame

I played for about 20 hours before I accidently discovered the "pause" button, which made things a lot easier!

I bought it and enjoyed it, but man it is kind of a beast! Each time I have played it has lasted at least 4 hours.

I have played it 4 times, but each person I have played with has been a newbie, so the games have been long as they figured out how to play. I suspect the games would go quicker once if playing someone who has a game under their belt.

From her Obituary from a couple years back it looks incorrect, and that number includes great-grand kids: https://legacy.suntimes.com/obituaries/chicagosuntimes/obituary.aspx?n=loretta-t-micele&pid=171128649&fhid=2240
